Results indicate that the Reliability of Creative Thinking Skills Module is acceptable. The Torrance Test of Creative Thinking Figural Forms was applied to measure the creativity level of respondents in a local Private University. This research paper presents the outcome of a research conducted to improve and enhance the creativity level of local engineering undergraduates at a private institution of higher learning through a Creative Thinking Module that features a number of creative thinking tools such as Brain sketching, Concept Maps and Morphological Analysis. Thus, there is a need for engineering educators to address this issue by introducing creative thinking as a skill to be acquired by the current generation of engineering undergraduates. Recent research has indicated that creativity, which happens to be one of the vital skills for engineers in the 21st century that can be taught and learnt, has reduced significantly over the years. Creativity and engineering complement each other to provide useful yet eye-opening solutions to everyday problems. This study not only lays the theoretical groundwork for understanding the mechanisms of user emotional interaction on IDSPs, but it also points the way forward for future industrial design service platform development.Ĭreativity is an important factor when it comes down to engineering designs. Furthermore, a lack of market sensitivity stems from a lack of emotional interaction with users, resulting in a schism between industry, university, and research, which has become a major impediment to the development of China’s industrial design industry. Market factors are the most fundamental in the development of an industrial design service platform, and universities play an important role in this. The results show that government-driven factors have a direct impact on the demand for industrial design in user emotional interactions.
Using grounded theory to mine user demand text data, this paper investigates the influencing factors of emotional interaction and dynamic resource allocation in the digital design supply chain. Meanwhile, big data can be used to realize emotional interaction for personalized design needs of users, resulting in a better user experience. Thanks to big data technology, users’ diverse design needs can be precisely met. With the deep integration of industries brought about by big data technology, users’ design needs are diversifying and individuating.
With an original approach to fostering creativity our conclusion will address how creativity can direct education to allow fulfilment of the needs of an ever expanding world but more importantly give individuals the stimulation to ignite their imaginations and foster their confidence to actually conceive what they can perceive. Creativity is a way to expand the learning opportunities through the lens of something that inspires us. We have the unique opportunity to develop and inspire beyond functional learning and help create a more purposeful, innovative synthesis for both teacher and student. We need to ‘pull-focus’ on creativity to enhance the value of such a precious commodity. The boundaries of its definition are and always have been subjective and in being so become blurred. We all think we know what creativity is but if we were to challenge the convention and de-construct the process of what we think and understand creativity to be we would realise that creativity is so much more. This we believe is due to the un-enlightened understanding and use of ‘creativity’ as a tool within teaching practice. Current educational strategies limit us to teaching from a sterile model without the nurturing of creativity beyond creative necessity.
