When guests arrive to the from the walls are lined with drawings of Slinky Dog Dash and the box for the “toy”. The safety instructions are given on the screen of a giant toy camera in a cartoon format. Little touches such as Buster’s dog tag, army men, playing cards, and blocks also line the queue adding awe and wonderment wherever you look.Įven the safety instructions for this attraction are in theme. The awning style ceiling is even a blue print of the roller coaster.

In the queue guests will notice huge “papers” that are the instructions for how to build the Slinky Dog roller coaster. The great part of the queue for Slinky Dog Dash is that guests get to enjoy the immersive and fun nature of being in Toy Story Land and the feel of being shrunken down to toy size. The queue for this attraction is outside, and typically winds out of the main queue toward the Toy Story Land sign with Woody. Audio-Animatronic Wheezy the Penguin Singing His Lounge Singer Rendition of “You’ve Got A Friend In Me” At The End Of Slinky Dog Dash When they are done on their mad dash trip, guests are brought into the brake run area, where they are serenaded by an audio-animatronic Wheezy the Penguin while waiting to get out. In the middle of the ride, Slinky Dog slows to a stop before giving guests the warning to “Hold on” and then launching up another hill. This ride is also Disney’s first ever double-launch roller coaster.
If guests pay close attention, this ride will also show all of the original boxes for Andy’s toys, which is another fun experience to note. Guests will dash over hills at top speed while taking in the view of the rest of the land. The story behind the attraction is that Andy built the roller coaster himself using a “Dash & Dodge Mega Coaster Kit” but instead used Slinky Dog as the vehicle.
